Affilo Blueprint 2.0 Review + $50 Cash Back
OK I’ve finally finished the Affilo Blueprint 2.0 course and first Affilo Blueprint style website (WomanDatingAdvice.com). I thought I would write a review of what I thought of the AffiloBluePrint 2.0. Affiloblue Print 2.0 has 12 modules and runs for 12 weeks. However you can progress at your own pace. If your new to internet marketing then you should take your time and complete the course slowly – so that you don’t miss any important steps. However, if you have been in the internet marketing game for a while now you may be able to complete the course in 2-3 weeks. Personally I took my time completing the course as I wanted to do it to the letter and not skip any steps.

Each week has about 5 videos, each approximately 45 minutes long. For the novice marketer, Mark Ling will step you through absolutely everything you need to know from how to pick a domain name, to how to set up your hosting and of course how to build your website. Each and every video also has a PDF, which you can read if you prefer to learn that way. For an experienced internet marketer there is still some great information to be had.
Here is a breakdown of week 1: (Market Research & Keywords)
- Video 1: Finding a profitable niche
- Video 2: Introduction to keywords and how to do niche background research
- Video 3: Building a keyword list
- Video 4: Finding keywords that convert
- Video 5: Keyword Competition: All your questions answered
And, The Complete Lesion Topics:
- Week 2- How to get content for your website
- Week 3 – Setting up your website: Domain names, hosting, and building a basic website
- Week 4 – Website design and monetizing your articles
- Week 5 – Introduction to search engine optimization (on-page SEO) and how to write product reviews
- Week 6 – Off-page SEO and link-building
- Week 7 – Newsletters (optional)
- Week 8 – Advanced link building & “Web 2.0″
- Week 9 – Advanced website tweaking
- Week 10 – Pay Per Click 1
- Week 11 – Pay Per Click 2
- Week 12 – Pay Per Click 3
Mark Ling really doesn’t miss anything here – it’s all covered. The course goes into great detail and I was never left wondering – what next. However if you do need a question there is a great support forum full of staff and other Affilo Blueprint members. I myself have used the forum to get the members opinion on my completed site – Womandatingadvice.com. While creating your affiloblueprint site Mark Ling gives you the option of either Wordpress or XsitePro 2.0. I personally have always used Wordpress and Dreamweaver; however I tried using XsitePro for the affiloblueprint program. I found that I could build a site in 1/4 of the time, and all the features I needed had a “button” No more HTML!
Overall I rate Affilo Blueprint very highly, as the title suggests its a Blueprint of how to create a successful affiliate site. Affilo Blueprint comes with a 60 day money back refund policy.

ACME People Search – Affiliate Marketing Program
ACME People Search a good affiliate marketing program?
First of you have your Own People Search Engine which there are multiple links within your site which earn you commissions. Take a look at LivePeopleSearch for a example or watch the video below.
You will see several links such as:
- Search by Phone
- Search by SSN
- Run a Background check
- Email Search and;
- Who’s searching for you
These links I look at as bonus’s, as the user has to pay for these services. When the user pays for a service you will get a commission. Typically commissions are between $20-40 per sale.
The main income for your search engine is when people actually perform a search. They will be shown the search results but vital information such as the persons telephone number and street address is not shown, until they enter their email address – which in turn provides you with $1.10 per lead from mylife.com.
The best part about this is that once you have that lead you keep it for 1 year, this also applied to any sales generated by other links. Emails are then sent out regularly attempting to up-sell the user to a mylife.com premium membership, which again earns you a commission of 25%.
What does it cost?
The cost for signing onto this program is $30 per month. Though the first 30 days is given to you as a Free Trail. You are also credited with $125 just for joining to kickstart your referral program. The $30 a month covers site maintenance and includes 125 Pay Per Click advertising clicks via Google, Yahoo and msn from Tissa Godavitarne ( ACME people search founder ).

New Affiliate Site – Dating Advice for Women
Just a quick update, Im creating a new affiliate site which can be viewed here – http://womandatingadvice.com/. Ill post more information once the site is completly up and running.
How To Become A Super Affiliate In Niche Markets
Over the past years, web hosting has grown bigger than it used to be. With more companies getting into this business and finding the many benefits it can give them, the demand for web hosting has never been higher. These seem to be the trend of today.
38 million people have put up their very first websites online this year 2005 alone. It is estimated that by 2008, the internet sales industry will top then dollar bank. And to think, majority of those sites will be offering different affiliate programs for people to choose and participate into.
This only means one thing. It is easier now to find the right web host for your application. The possibility of quality web hosting companies separating themselves from the rest of the industry is anticipated. If this is done, the unprofessional and incompetent ones will suffer.
Support will be the number one consideration for people when choosing a web host. It will be obvious that traditional advertising will become less and less effective. Most people would rather opt for the web host based on things that they see and hear. Also based on the recommendations by those who have tried them and have proved to be a successful.
This is a great opportunity for web hosting affiliates and resellers alike. There would hundreds of web hosting and programs to choose from that the difficulty in finding the right one for them is not a problem anymore.
How does one become a successful affiliate in the niche markets using web hosting?
If you think about it, everyone who needs a website needs a web hosting company to host it for them. As of now, there is really no leading hosting industry so most people choose hosts based from recommendations. Usually, they get it from the ones that have already availed of a web hosting services.
With the many hosts offering affiliate programs, there is the tendency to find the one which you think will work best for you. Think of the product you will be promoting. Pattern them to the site and see if they are catering to the same things as you are.
When you have been with one host for quite some time and seem not to be making much despite all your effort, leave that one and look for another. There is no use in trying to stick to one when you would be before off in another one. Things will only have to get better from there because you already have been in worst situations.
Try this out. If you are quite happy and satisfied with your web host, try to see if they are offering an affiliate program you can participate on. Instead of you paying them, why not make it the other way around; them paying you. The process can be as easy as putting a small “powered by” or “hosted by” link at the bottom of your page and you are already in an affiliate business.
Why choose paying for your for your web hosting when you do not have to? Try to get paid by letting people know you like your web host.
Always remember that when choosing a web host, choose the one that is known for its fantastic customer support. There are also many hosting affiliate programs. Residual affiliate program is also being hosted. This is the program wherein you get paid a percentage every month for a client that you refer. This can allow you to have a steady source of income. With perseverance, you can even be quite successful in this field.
There are a lot of niche markets out there just waiting for the right affiliate to penetrate to them and make that dollars dream come true. Knowing which one to get into is being confident enough of your potentials and the good results you will be getting.
Web hosting is just one affiliate market you could try out and make some good and continuous income. Just remember that to be successful on your endeavor also means that time, effort and patience is needed.
Nobody has invented the perfect affiliate market yet. But some people do know how to make it big in this kind of market. It is just knowing your kind of market and making the earnings there.
What do web stats mean?
I have had a few people ask me recently what all these web stats actually mean. I thought I would post here what they all mean for anyone who doesnt already know.
- A Unique Visitor: The most important stat I believe is the unique’s. Each unique visitor is identified with a IP address. This IP address is either Static ( doesnt change ) or can be dynamic ( new IP each time they connect to the net ). This means that the vistior is counted only once per time frame. The time frame is usaully a 24 hour period. The time frame depends on the tracking program.
This essientially means that even if the visitor returns to your site 4-5 times in one day, they will only be counted One time. This is a very useful stat.
The downfall to this is that some schools and/or companies will have one IP for several users, meaning that at times 1 unquie might actually be 15 people.
- Page Views: This means how many times each page of your website was viewed. This will give you how long the user’s spent on each page and will let you know which pages are most popular, or in other words the interest level.
- Hit requests: This stat lets you know how many files are transfered from your server to the user. For example, http://www.mp3.com/free-music/ would have a high hit requests as there is alot of images of that page. The hit request also includes the html page + style sheets ect, not just images.
- Referals: Shows where the user came from, such as google.com, yahoo.com or a forum like this one for example ect ect..
Hope this helps,
Google Adwords Tracking Success
It’s no secret that there’s a lot of money involved
with affiliate marketing. This is only true however,
for those who are serious and hard working on their
affiliate program. The biggest part of succeeding
depends on your perseverance and determination.
Even the best of affiliate programs won’t prosper
if you don’t build the business on a solid foundation.
Nothing happens if the banners and links you place
on a website just decorates the pages. The affiliate
must convince visitors to click on the banner or link
then proceed to the program to buy products.
Affiliate marketing can be easy if you have planned
your campaign well and have taken the right steps
towards success. Choosing the right product and
designing your website with banners and the right
material are keys to making things happen.
An ad tracker is a software program that will allow
you to trace and monitor every click that is made
by visitors through your referral link. To make
things even better, you know exactly where you
placed the link. You can either use a service
provider or purchase ad tracking software.
With ad trackers, you can monitor the progress
of your campaigns, even advertising offline. If
you have several affiliate accounts, this tool
can be very good to have.
Each and every decision you make should be well
grounded in facts. By using an ad tracker, you’ll
be able to generate traffic reports for your
personal sales page. Armed with the proper
knowledge and an ad tracking software program,
you’ll have no problems succeeding in the
affiliate marketing world. It can be tough to
get started – although once you start making money
you’ll be glad you took the chance!
Google Slapped me! Ouch
www.Blackbook-PeopleFinder.com has been slapped! I should of seen it coming, though it was my very first PPC Campaign. The reason this particular URL got hit with the google slap was because of ‘unrealated’ keywords. For example to major keywords which I was using were whitepages.com and white pages.com. Both these keywords had a Quailty Score of 1/10. Google seemed to put up with this for 2 months, and then – they did it. All my keywords are now have a Quailty Score of 1/10 and to get any ad to show I have to bid $2.50 or more and they will not show more than 5 times or so per day!
The Solution?
Either wait months for google to ‘un-slap’ or create a new URL. Of course I created a new URL – www.LivePeopleSearch.ws. I have learnt from my last slap and now have a Quailty Score of 7/10 for all keywords. This time I have started the campaign using only Long-Tail-Keywords to start, this will help boost the Quailty Score and therefor have higher ranking ads which cost less.
The Affiliate Marketer Defined
According to The Glossary of Internet Terms, “Affiliate Marketer is defined as: “A business relationship with a merchant or other service provider who allows you to link to that business. When a visitor clicks on the link at your site and subsequently makes a purchase from the merchant, you receive a commission based on the amount of the sale, a referral fee or a pay-for-click fee.”
This is a simple, straight-forward agreement between a merchant and an affiliate. Budding affiliate marketers run into a problem when they try to reverse the success process. Instead of starting at the beginning, they try to start at the end.
Making money is the end of the process. The beginning of the process is education and there are several steps in between. Too many people, who are just getting started in affiliate marketing, fail to take the steps necessary to get to the end of the process and actually make money.
Step #1: Educate yourself. This is the key, opening the door of opportunity. It’s also the common thread connecting successful affiliate marketers. Education lays the foundation – the building blocks to success. Start by gathering the best information you can find about affiliate marketing and absorbing it.
Step #2: Turn that information into usable knowledge. Even the best information remains kind of worthless, however, until after you discover how to use it – how to make it serve your purpose.
Step #3: Start applying the knowledge … take action …start building your affiliate business. Will you make mistakes, even though you’ve invested all that time educating yourself? Yes, you most likely will make mistakes.
Step #4: Test and tweak, test and tweak. This one never ends. And it’s often the dividing line between succeeding and failing. Attention to small details often returns big rewards.
Following these steps will define you as a successful affiliate marketer.
The Good Traffic?
Everyday that goes by you can bet that any serious website owner is wondering how to get more traffic to their site. This intense desire to generate more clicks makes virtually any online entrepreneur easy prey to many of the traffic schemes and scams that pervade the Internet.
Wild promises of high volume traffic and big bucks often separate even the most savvy business person from their money because they want to believe the promises made by these traffic hucksters. The problem is that high volume doesn’t necessarily translate into a high sales rate.
The visitors who come to your website as a result of a desire to find out more on a specific, niche topic, not as a result of exit traffic or membership in a safe list where members simply pitch each other. Good traffic comes from people clicking links on topics targeted to their interests and getting directed to a website containing information they want and expect as a result of clicking the link. The bottom line is that when you get right down to it the best and most dependable sources of targeted traffic come from links that people click.
Being able to determine which clicks actually result in sales is vital. To track conversions from click to sales, depending on the type of shopping cart software you are using, you can then create a custom order confirmation page – i.e. the page that is displayed once the transaction is complete. This is very easy to do if you’re using a payment processing service such as PayPal.
It’s well known that each search engine and each web site has a particular type of user (age, interests etc.), and they’ll all have different triggers leading them to purchase. All of these things are important for you to know so that your advertising dollars will be spent in the most advantageous places.
